Watch and respond to this video. How does it make you feel about the world we live in. What are your expectations of the future? Does this video mean anything to missions?
The world is a fest development. More than ever the world is growing in technology and information. more information that a person can handle. A few decades ago, if something happen in another country it would take while to get the information. Today the airplane despaired, in few hours everybody in the world already know about it. It is just incorporable and scary. I am really into technology, but looking to this video, jut make me afraid about future. Life was much more simple before. t is getting so complex to live today. credit cards, and cellphones, all things look they help and seems they benefit people, but to me is just making the life more complex, and full of things you need to know in order to live. Few years ago people to do homework just needed to know how to use a pen. Today more and more teachers don except homework on handwriting. They ask for homework typed on the computer. Talking about computer, everything is a computer today, and runs by computer, it is everywhere, every table, very hand. If all computer in the world stop today I think the world would collapse it is inc readable how dependent we became of computers. Our bank accounts are based on computer information. Stores prices. Industrial plans, and factories systems. Even pop machines have computer inside, that even send a message to the company when they need to reload. We are going to this future, that is completely scary and dependent on technology. The technology created to serve us, is slaving us. I don't know where we are going, and how the world will look like in the next generation. But I am very concern about our individual privacy, and our simple life style, to be extinct and replaced by this crazy jetsons futuristic life Style.
In an increasingly technologically centered environment there has to be a whole realization of what is truly going on. The trends show where the focus of many world changes are coming from and may lead to accurate speculation on where those changes are going. Many of the major military powers and political centers of the world are in decline and with the focus shifting there is evidence of something big on the horizon. Though a lot of people who do not see the big picture, may not even be able to tell when it does change because of the swiftness of its occurrence. Technology is becoming the most important way to communicate and we are losing sight of ourselves in the process. No longer is it necessary to go places and talk to people face to face. The church doesn't have to be in a building when it can be online in the privacy of your own home without standing and sitting, or even fellowship of any kind. This is the world that is being made before our very eyes.
