I think that these people are from somewhere in the Middle East. I say this because the man in the picture has a beard and a turban and the woman's head is covered as well. They look like common people to me based on their dress. Maybe they are market vendors or something like that. They probably speak one of the languages in Israel. I say this because the woman's face is not covered so she is not a Muslim and if she is from the Middle East it is probably a safe bet they are from Israel. So they believe in the One true God who created the Heavens and the Earth. Though Jesus of Nazareth was not His Son.
Like Jeremy,I would also guess they are from the Middle East. The man's turban is what makes me think so. However, it is the woman's dress that left me wondering where they are from. She is dressed rather normal. I will admit that when I see a man in a turban, I automatically think they are from India and are probably Muslim. But as we have read in Ramachandra, one's ethnicity is different from their religion. So, I'm not really sure where they are from...
David, The are small middle wage living in the Middle east. The Man probably does labor work to get by in order to help the family. While the wife stays at home and takes care of the young babe. I believe they speak Arabic because it is the national language of The Middle East. I say rhat are probably muslims because the husband is wearing Middle eastern wear. So can them turbans as on his head. I say probably the husband works labor because he seen in his eyes that he is a hard worker.
As the rest of them say I also would say they are probably from originally from the middle east but to put a twist on it who says they arent living in the united states now maybe even here in Eugene! There are many people who wear these types of clothes that are from their own cultures that walk around our cities. She probably is a stay at home mother and he probably works a normal job. They original language is probably one of the Middle East but they probably have began to learn english from living in the States. As for their religion who honestly would ever be able to judge someones belief on what they wear or how they look!!
